A Week in Dale’s Life – Week 15

The Babbling Section

Another new experience that I can check of the list, giving a talk, let’s go! Let me start by saying that it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would turn out, sure there were moments where I blanked out and wished for nothing more that to not be alive in that moment, but aside from that everything turned out just fine, that’s a joke it was still pretty bad, well my parts anyways (Ate Jess you were incredible).

But I don’t really feel disheartened or discouraged, in fact it’s quite the opposite, the pride in myself from knowing that I can actually do it is quite immense right now, (once again let’s freakin’ go boys!) but also going in I expected things to not turn out so well, but I’m won’t let myself be bummed out since this is my first time giving a talk to an international audience.

You learn from you mistakes right so that next time you suck even less, and that kids is what we call the natural cycle of improvement, I oversimplified that point by a bit, but I think you get the general gist.

Anyways I’m babbling again (hence the name of this section), hope you had a good read, till next time.
