A Week in Dale’s Life – Week 68 & 69 & 70

A slight slackage in the past couple of weeks, but there’s a justifiable reason for this (or not).

As you can probably tell, we have just entered the final month for this whirlwind of a year. And people are now gearing up the holidays, I have not excused myself among that group. So, to sum it all up as to the lack of postings, we have been getting ready for the Maria Carey pandemic.

It’s the holiday season guys, obviously life would be a little more hectic than usual. Cut me some slack (cut myself some slack, to be more real).

Anyhow, on to the summary of the weeks.

Week 68

Not much, just your regular, standard week. But no one would have known that this was the calm before the storm…

Week 69

The last sentence there might have been a slight exaggeration, look back, this week wasn’t quite as hectic as I initially thought.

Some relatives from a foreign land just came to visit, and it seemed they’d be staying for a while. And it also seemed that we’d be the one to accommodate them during their stay here.

Week 70

To make up for the lack of posts, we’ll do a 3-in-1 since this week is already close to being over at the time of writing anyways (Saturday evening).

Start of week: just good healthy levels of stress all-around.

Mid-week: the stress levels do not, I repeat, DO NOT go down…

End of week: things start to settle down. we’ve managed to survive. a pretty chill Saturday.

Re-reading that very succinct summarization, I realize that my body is now very happy to be past all that craziness. I’ve also come to see the self-growth that happened this past 2 months of living by myself, which is very nice too.

This week is a top contender for one of the more hectic ones for this year. And I know for sure that the me from last year would not have been able to handle all the craziness.

So, as we’re nearing the end of this year, it’s nice to see that it wasn’t in vain. Sure, there are goals that were not accomplished, and are unlikely to be completed within the remainder of this month. But to just see that I’m improving at life, be it very slowly, but that progress is still being made, this is enough for me to end this year feeling somewhat content.
