A Week in Dale’s Life – Week 9

The Babbling Section

Welcome back to another episode of this section, still debating on the name but we’ll leave it for now. Not really sure what I’m gonna write about, I’m just writing words as they pop into my head.

Actually, there is one memorable scene that might be worth noting that happened this week.

It occurred late Friday night, actually it was so late that some might have considered it very early Saturday morning. I was just hanging out with friends, well more like ate and kuyas, but that’s beyond the point. Basically the conversation somehow led to me being questioned, the questions weren’t particularly hard, some of them just had me pondering for a while trying to look for an answer.

I won’t go into the details, but one thing that I’ve realized is that it is quite hard being vulnerable, opening yourself up to other people and admitting your weaknesses is extremely difficult I have found, and also beyond that, to be able to share your past mistakes to act as a guide for the sake of others so they won’t make the same mistakes.

I now have nothing but respect and admiration for anyone willing and able to do that.

As a side note, I actually learned a lot of useful things (practical advice might be a better term) that night, things that will definitely help as I move on with my life, and I’m eternally grateful for all of the things that I have picked up just by hanging out with these people.

Welp, there’s episode 2 in the books, see you in the next one (no idea when that will be though).
